About us
Mis Anawim Mundi
We are a non-profit humanitarian association based in Barcelona, dedicated to being a bridge of hope for people, families, communities and dioceses facing vulnerability.
Our story
Mis Anawim Mundi was born from the conviction that every person deserves dignity, care and a helping hand in difficult times. Since our founding in 2022, we have worked to deliver humanitarian aid where it is needed most: locally, nationally and internationally.
Thanks to the support of Càritas Diocesana de Barcelona and many volunteers and donors, we have been able to collect, sort and distribute tonnes of aid over the years, responding both to everyday needs and to humanitarian emergencies.
The meaning of «Anawim»
«Anawim» is a word of Hebrew origin that refers to the poor and humble, those who place their trust and hope beyond their own strength. Our name, «Mis Anawim Mundi», expresses that commitment: to stand beside the most humble of the world, with respect and closeness.

How we work
We collect donations of materials and resources, sort them and deliver them to destinations with a concrete need, in coordination with trusted partner organisations. We also respond to social emergencies quickly and effectively.
